Thoughtsx
I have not given much thought to an actual list for movies I haven't seen until now. Why did it take me so long?

I want to make a note about lost and semi-lost media in one of my favorite movies, The Thing (1982). There are so many lost footage from that film that it makes me sweat. How much do we know is lost but how much do we NOT know?

Then the sequel! I'm iffy on watching the sequel but I will get to it eventually. I also get frustrated at the eventual decision to move from practical effects to just 2010s CGI.

Speaking of The Thing, I don't think anyone left alive at the end of the film is a Thing. Regardless of what people say, the way that it ends makes me think that no one left alive is infected. Paranoia is dangerous and that's what the survivors are grappling with.st

Whether they survived or not, I don't know. I know that John Carpenter has some ideas on it but I rather have it ambiguous. It makes it scarier and one starts to panic over if anyone is left.

Scary Thingsx
If I want to look at things that will scare me, I would go to the NSFW and NSFL side of the Lost Media Wiki.

These disturbing things that are now lost will forever be more scarier than the bloodiest horror movie. The limits of humankind's monstrosities know no bounds. No movie can truly capture this feeling.
